Bored…

Yehey! 9 days to go… and tah-dahh! It’s my birthday! And six days more to Cocoy and Kane’s birthday. *wink wink*

I am really enjoying my summer. I really enjoy my gymnastics class. For some reason, I find myself more addicted to the gameboy rather than the computer. Urgh. Getting old… But I’m only turning thirteen. That’s not too old, is it?

At last! I can do a higher back tuck! W00t. And whipbacks. And… frontwalk on the beam. And back handspring on it as well. Ahihihi. (ELMO?!? ) I should have been getting better, anyway. It’d be a waste of money if I didn’t.

Speaking of Elmo, we had a blast last night in the van. We came home from Sampaloc, because we were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary. So while we were about to leave, we started saying goodbye to Dominic. And then I used Elmo. He was laughing! I was laughing too. Heh heh. And then we were going back home.

So we got bored. Tita Ana was making Elmo say hi to the people at the back. HILARIOUS. I brought out a mini-shopping bag. Elmo “barfed” in it. Then we tried to fit it on his finger. Yuck! Carrying your barf! :-& Ahihihihihihi!!! We made Elmo go shopping and even filled the bag with some small things… gawd, we were so NOISY!

After that, we dressed up Elmo into a pirate! More fun! Then a little later, we made him travel back in time, to dress like a baby. Heh heh. And the diaper was Tita Ana’s hanky! LOL.

Elmo was a lot of fun. Never realized it was fun to play with the red guy. LMAO.

Gaah. Feels like forever since I’ve touched this PC. But I’ve got another hour to go.

And I’m still bored.

Clearwater Fun

Just got back from Clearwater.Loved it. Except I’m a shade or two darker. Hahaha. That’s okay. At least we had fun. But it was totally irritating having a pessimistic brother with us. Urgh.

Clearwater had clear water indeed. I could see my feet underwater– clearly. Hehe. It would’ve been more fun to have stayed there longer though. Could’ve kayaked… boated, or maybe bike around.

And a nice big happy birthday to Paul London, who turns 26 today.

Super excited to watch the DVD of WrestleMania 22. *squeals* *cough**cough*fangirl.*cough* Whatever. I really want to see the Money in the Bank match. Bad Start

Summer at last! Yep, the post came REAL late, but who cares? It’s my blog anyway… lol.

So I start off summer with a loss of stuff. Not just any stuff, but my DigiCam and the DVD Player(supposedly for car use.) Urgh. So while waiting for the PO test to start, I hung out with my usual tropa of friends. Yeah. Fun. And we made plans to go out the following day.

So when 1:00 came, I had to go. I got my folder and went up. Somehow, bringing my bag with me slipped my mind. What a dummy. So I took the fricken’ exam(even if I didn’t want to) and finished the science test with a 27/50. Horrific. I was relieved to get going. But upon arriving at the phone booth(where I placed my bag), I was surprised to see that my bag was gone, but my extra folder and jug were not!

Thinking my mom got it, I went to go to the three and retrieve the GBA. They accompanied me to the GS lobby, where I told my mom about what happened. She said she didn’t get it. My sister then arrived. So I asked if she took it. She didn’t. Then the truth struck me.

Someone got my bag, intentionally or unintentionally.

So I went bonkers, alerting the security, and having to report it to the principal. It was SO embarrassing. Urgh. Isn’t that a bad way to start the summer? Argh. 

Fun at Starbucks, Vacation, and 2nd Quarter Report Card

Long time no update? Hahaha. Just came from a 3 day, 2 night vacation in Pampanga. Specifically in Mimosa and Clear Water, an exclusive country club. Had a goo time, and spending an entire freaking day watching WRESTLING.

Before that, I got my report card. Expecting I would get lower grades, I got surprised(not too much) that it got higher. From 90.85 to 91.77. Hopefully I can keep it up. I’ll make a copy… so that I can keep track.

Ok… posted just to keep track. Anyway, I got home yesterday with Tita Myna and Tito Ian.  Along the way, we were discussing about going to Starbucks and impersonating a wrestler. (Keep in mind that in Starbucks, they take the names of the customers.) Well, yesterday, we did. Under Mr. Kennedy. We were laighing like crazy… Parang sira kami tumawa!! Next time, we try Batista. ROTFL.

I finished the Nancy Drew game! Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon.. haha.

School Activities: Retreat

Retreat
I think this was on August 29-30, 2005, Monday-Tuesday… classmates, if it’s wrong, please tell me through the tag board or through a comment. Thanks!

On that day, I woke up much earlier than what I planned to. 5:00 AM. I had breakfast about ten minutes later. Unfortunately, other levels’ classes were cut! Unfair, the first batch when this happened also got their classes cut. BS. Anyway, nothing I can do about it. So the previous day I double, or practically quadruple-checked the items I needed to bring. As in. So that morning, I left the house at 5:30 AM and arrived about 10-15 minutes later, since the roads were clear.

Upon arrival, I searched for my classmates and went upstairs to get my Bible, since it was one of the items to be brought. We had to wait for a while for everyone to arrive. Badly enough, watches were not allowed to be worn during the retreat, so I had to surrender mine. I always need my watch. We were staying in St. Catherine’s Dormitory(yeah, I’m named after St. Catherine of Siena, because I was born on her feast day, April 29) and I got to stay on the top bunk after pursuading my partner. Since neither of my two classmates on the other bed would take the top, I took the pillow there.

Things started off with Sister Bacaoco and Ms. Licsi giving us guidelines and other things to do in the chapel. We then got to meet our “brother”. He was Brother Alfred(that’s my dad’s name! Coincidence!) who had a good personality. I was feeling very drowsy in St. Thomas Aquinas’ Conference Hall, so he woke us up with a song exercise called “Baleleng”. We had a good laugh with this. In the hall, we also made charts depicting an important event in every year of our lives. After that, we had a food break. After which, we continued that and shared with groupmates. We sang “The Warrior is a Child” and “When You Say Nothing at All”… whose choruses I memorize. We had a pleasant lunch.

After that, had siesta, or an afternoon rest. I had a good rest, though. Then we returned to the conference hall. Then supper at 7 PM, if I’m not mistaken, because I didn’t have a watch! Nothing I could do, though. We went to the chapel, where we had a dramatic, emotional load. We were also told to write some things. It ended at 10:00 PM. A lot of people still had the aftermath of sobbing. Many sobs were heard. Then we went back to the conference room. I went to the dormitory’s comfort room, and was the last to exit. Once I had opened the door, the lights were out. Annoyed that I had no flashlight, I closed the light and the door. I let my eyes adjust to the darkness. Well, it was pitch black, and my only way to get out was the crack of light in the doorway. I walked straight to the door, carefully choosing where to step so that I would not trip. I made it out, luckily. So after that, we went back to the dormitory. We had thirty minutes to fix up. A few lucky classmates got to take a shower. Most of us could only limit ourselves to brushing teeth, changing clothes, and other personal hygiene habits. No ghosts for the night. I slept a dreamless sleep.

Coincidentally, all of us woke at 4:30 AM. I rested for another 20 minutes and got out, to take a shower. Then the rest of the afternoon and morning were spent on other religious activities. I got home about 5 PM, because after that, I went to gymnastics classes.
Apparently, the temperature of the place(read:it switched hot-cold-hot-cold, etc.) took its toll on me, and I was absent the next day! The following day after I was absent, I learned that they had done a lot the previous day. Next time, I don’t want to be absent.

Okay, again, I don’t know how I was able to type all that without falling asleep on my keyboard. Haha. Another random note: I loved this week’s RAW main event! Awesome!

School Activities: Field Trip

Field Trip

Late, but yeah. This was on July 2, 2005(I think), a Friday.
First off, waking up at 4:00 AM was not too bad. I like the idea of being early at school, but the problem is, it’s cold in the morning. When I arrived, several, rather most of us were there. I estimate around… 20? Anyway, I didn’t have a partner considering I didn’t ask anyone. Well. My consequence was to be with someone I didn’t really like. (no names) I thought that was BS. Don’t ask why. I’ll try to recall what happened.

So around 5:45 AM, we leave school. The tour guide seemed friendly, and was. So we started things off with a prayer, as every year. About 6:30-7:00 AM, we made a stopover at some place which I can’t remember. I had a choco-mallow pie from Jollibee and received a free newspapaper. Next, I went to Treats, armed with over 2,000 pesos, and bought a Pepsi in bottle which was the energy cola. People say it’s strong but I think otherwise. But that’s their opinion. We were allotted a half hour to buy and eat.

Later on we made stops to several significant places at the time of Andres Bonifacio. We made tour stops to Aguinaldo shrine. The place was well-furnished and I got to see the bedroom. Also, I saw the medicine cabinet, and the most notable medicine was the eye drops Aguinaldo used. I got to see his car, which was restored. The bedrooms were spacious, but no one was allowed to enter. Outside, we had to look for Spanish words, like conquistar. I could not, as it was rather crowded. The dining room was huge. Unfortunately, no pictures were to be taken inside the house. All in all, the place was large and beautiful. It has 8 floors, but we didn’t get to go to levels 3 and up, for the fear it may collapse on us. That house is, in the polite way, antique. We also got to go to the one with the bowling alley. There was also a gallery with a small cannon, and other things which marked the events at that time. Amazing architecture of the place. We performed the first part of the re-enactment.

Then we had some stopover at a beach. The wind was good, but we were not granted the permission to wade. We also went to a 17th Century(I presume) Church. It had been abandoned, but it’s still stands. There is a passageway from Aguinaldo’s residence to this church. I imagined it if it were new. In my mind, it looks spectacular.

At the Boniacio Trial House upstairs, we continued our re-enactment of the events at Bonifacio’s time. Badly enough, our script lacked something and I was at a loss of words to even add something. The trial house was spacious and it was rather interesting.

One of the most notable places we went to was the Bonifacio Shrine. We had a 25-30 minute hike up a mountain. It wasn’t too bad. I thought it was fun. Up there, we continued the last part of the re-enactment. Needless to say, our class did a fine job. Then, we went back to the bus. No wading! I didn’t like that. Before the hike, we had a warmup. It smelt like animal wasteland there!

In the bus, many, if not, all of us changed clothes. Then we had to go on the 2-hour trip back to school, with no stopovers. Dang. In the bus, jokes were shared, stories were shared, music was played, and people slept. So there ends this year’s field trip. I enjoyed the trip because I learned many things about history. History has always fascinated me, for some reason. The only parts I didn’t like were the no-wading and no buying of souvenirs. Oh well.

I don’t understand how I didn’t manage to fall asleep on the keyboard. But this was fun.

Ok… next entry will probably be about the retreat and family day. Or other activities. Till then, adios amigos.
